Ronald B. Forcier passed peacefully on Wednesday June 9, 2021. Loving Father of Keith (Cristina Ciccarelli) and Heather Forcier (David Pacza), Companion of Phyllis Mintz (Steven and Robin Flax) and former husband of Trudy Cornell, Grandfather to Melissa (James), Francis, Cody, Chelsea, and Logan, Great-grandfather to Lily, Step-Grandfather to Steven(Katherine), Samantha (Preston), and Olivia, Step Great grandfather to Jaxson and Frankie-Rose. Uncle to Glen, Carolyn, Fran, Wayne, Darren, Sharon, Johnny, Carla, Rick, Barbara, David, Mark, Charlotte, Stephanie, Leanne, Michael, Jennifer and Mike of the Forcier-Cornell families.

Ron is pre-deceased by his dear brother Frank (sister-in-laws Claire and Ann) and sister Margaret (brother-in-law Carl). Former brother-in-law to Joan (Eric), Carol (Ian), Bernice (George), Bernard (Mary) and Patricia (Keith).

Ron (Dad) will be remembered for his love of curling and golfing and the many friends he made there, his fellow teachers and the countless students he taught over his career. A strong-willed man with a keen sense of humour, he was true to his word and committed to finishing anything he started. A city-boy who learned how to build a small hobby farm for his family, piece by piece, by his own hand.

We would like to thank Phyllis so much for the love and care she has given to Dad over all these years. Also, we would like thank the staff at CLSC Benny Farm and Mt. Sinai Hospital Palliative Care, for their overwhelming kindness and dignified care of Dad during this last year.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Mt Sinai Hospital Foundation in Cote-St.-Luc.

Rest easy Dad, the grass has been cut and never looked better.  Save us a seat on the Sutton porch for when we see you next…We’ll bring a beer and your toasted tomato and cheese sandwich.

Love Keith, Heather & Phyllis
